Working with New Content Releases
The Expere EZ Config Default Data application supports the ability to copy default data. This functionality is useful when content is updated and released, as there may also be changes necessary to the Default Data questions for organizations, policies, and products. These content files reside in the content source repository (base file updates and/or customizations for customer needs). Changes may include:
- new question(s)
- new questions(s) with defaults
- removed questions (if content is no longer applicable)
- additional possible values for an existing question
- removed possible values for an existing question
The Copy function exists to assist users managing organizations, policies, and products within EZ Config Default Data. This function copies all existing organizations, policies, and products for a specified line of business to another version of content. When organizations, policies and products are copied, the system identifies removed Default Data questions from the new version of content and deletes the data from the copied record, making it no longer visible nor available for use.
