Copy Details

The Copy Details page displays the data that will be included when copying from one Content Source Alias to another. Viewing this page allows you to see the data that will copy (including organizationss, policies, and products) and any corresponding validation concerns, allowing you to review, analyze, and adjust prior to completing the copy.

The header displays the From Content Source Alias, the To Content Source Alias, and the Line of Business for the data you wish to copy, as defined in the Copy popup previously.

The Status displays as In Process for new copies.

Use the filter options to narrow down which records to review. The Type, Policy Type (available only when Policy is selected as Type), and Messages filters work in conjunction with each other to limit which records display.

An arrow within the a column indicates that the records are sorted by that category. Click a column heading to sort by it. Click again to reverse the sort order.

Click Copy to copy the data to the new Content Source Alias.
Note: The following statements apply to the copy default data function:
  • Only records without a validation message will be copied.
  • There must be at least one organization, policy, or product available to copy.
  • The Status changes to Complete when the copy process is successful.
  • Review content release notes for additional updates after copying data.

System Problems/Error Messaging

Should you encounter system problems that prevent data from displaying successfully, the program displays a red error banner at the top of the page to alert you to the error. If the problem persists, contact your System Administrator.
