HeaderNotice Tagging
Note: See HeaderNotice and FooterNotice for further
information on using HeaderNotice attributes.
The presence of the HeaderNotice element in a .REQ file generates accessibility tags at the appropriate location in the PDF tag tree structure based on the existence of the attributes FirstPage, MiddlePages, LastPage, OnlyPage and the attribute value set to Yes.
For example, if the HeaderNotice element exists with the
FirstPage=Yes attribute authored, accessibility tags
generate for the HeaderNotice contents and are placed in the tag tree
structure after the Prolog Document Title tag and before the first page
contents tags so that it is read in order similar to that of the physical
PDF content.
Note: Using the MiddlePage=Yes attribute will
result in header notice tags appearing in the Tag Tree for all pages
(other than the first and last) within the document.
