Copying Organizations

Expere EZ Config Default Data provides the ability to copy an existing organization to create a new one. Copying an organization allows you to save time by allowing you to edit just the details that differ between organizations instead of creating a new organization, which requires defining all organization details from the beginning.

Organizations can be copied either within the same Content Source Alias and Line of Business combination or to a different Content Source Alias and Line of Business combination.

To copy an organization to the same Content Source Alias and Line of Business:
  1. On the Organization List page click the button associated with the organization you wish to copy.
  2. Click Copy from the popup menu.
  3. A popup window displays the copy details, including where the organization is copied from and where it is being copied to. Enter an Organization Name. The Organization Name must be unique within the Content Source Alias and Line of Business and is limited to 255 characters.
  4. Click Copy.
