Copying Products

Expere EZ Config Default Data provides the ability to copy an existing product to create a new one. Copying a product allows you to save time by allowing you to edit just the details that differ between products instead of creating a new product, which requires defining all product details from the beginning.

Products can be copied within the same Content Source Alias and Line of Business only.

To copy a product:
  1. On the Product List page click the button associated with the product you wish to copy.
  2. Click Copy from the popup menu.
  3. A popup window displays the copy details, including where the product is copied from and where it is being copied to. Enter a Product Name. The Product Name must be unique within the Content Source Alias and Line of Business and is limited to 255 characters.
  4. Click Copy.
