  • Individual: Separate PDFs are generated for each document in the packet.
  • Merged: All documents in the packet are merged together and combined into a single PDF.
  • Individual and Merged: Separate PDFs are generated for each document in the packet, and a combined single PDF is generated as well.
  • PdfMergeDiscreteParty: Generates multiple merged PDF documents based on the discrete party or parties specified for each document. Available for PDF and Tagged PDF. RTF not available. For more information, refer to PdfMergeDiscreteParty in the Implementation Strategies guide.

Document Type

  • PDF Standard PDF format without tags.
  • Tagged PDF Tagged PDF contains a tag tree available in Adobe Acrobat, which defines the structure of the documents and is used to make a document accessible for screen readers.
  • RTF-Commercial Only Separate RTF files are generated for each document in the packet. This format allows editing via an external word processing application. Only dynamic documents will generate as RTF. Any static documents within the packet will output as fillable PDF files. This format type may only be used within a commercial Line of Business.
Note: When documents are output as RTF, any watermarks defined for the Packets are ignored, as the Expere Document Engine is unable to process watermarks for RTF format.
