Copying Policies
Expere EZ Config Default Data provides the ability to copy an existing policy to create a new one. Copying a policy allows you to save time by allowing you to edit just the details that differ between policies instead of creating a new policy, which requires defining all policy details from the beginning.
Policies can be copied within the same Content Source Alias, Line of Business, and Policy Types or to a different Content Source Alias and Line of Business combination.
To copy a policy:
- On the Policy List page click the
button associated with the policy you wish to copy.
- Click Copy from the popup menu.
- A popup window displays the copy details, including where the policy is copied from and where it is being copied to. Enter a Policy Name. The Policy Name must be unique within the Content Source Alias, Line of Business, and Policy Type and is limited to 255 characters.
- Depending on the Line of Business and Policy Type combination specified, additional fields supporting policy applicabilities may be listed. These applicability selections may be changed. Any newly available applicabilities will be available for selection. Likewise, any applicabilities that have been removed will no longer be available.
- Click Copy.

Note: When the system performs the copy, it also incorporates any content changes for the
