Content URI
The Document Generation Services tool suite allows users to automatically generate a Content Identifier-URI (Uniform Resource Identifier). The Content Identifier-URI is an expression that consists of a string of characters containing the line of business, library, and package which connects a submitted request to a content repository and specific package within that content. The Content-URI string essentially mimics the functionality of an external user’s LOS that submits a request containing an alias that points a request to a content repository and package.
Users may also specify the desired documents to add to a fully resolved package by using the Use Packages and Packets inline package option. See Generate a fully resolved package for detailed information.
- From the Select Generate and Deliver, Select and Generate, Generate, Select-Synchronous, and Select, pages, click the Generate button.

- Select an alias from the list of available Aliases; select one package from the list of available Packages.

Note:- The list of available Aliases and Packages accessible when clicking the Generate button in the Content Identifier section displays the aliases in ascending order chronologically and packages in alphabetical order.
- Checking the Resolve URI checkbox displays the full URI; if left unchecked, the alias URI appears.
- Click Generate to populate the Content Identifier URI field; click Cancel to disregard the changes and return to the previous page.
