Import Detail Page

The Import Packages and Packets Detail page then displays a list of available packages for import and includes the selected Content Source Alias, a Content Validation indicator, and a Status for the import. The page also lists package names, lines of business, and any messages associated with the package. Packages may be individually selected or unselected.

The Import Details page provides the details for the selected import, including Content Source Alias, Content Validation, Imported On, Imported By, and Status information. The specific import details with the following information is also included: Package Name, Line of Business, and Messages columns, which may be used to sort the list. The checkbox field is used to indicate when a package is included within the exported data.

Click Import to import the selected packages.
  • If there are packages that will be overwritten by the import, a popup window displays a "Do You Want To Proceed?" message. Click Yes to begin the import. Click No to return to the Import Details page.
  • If there are no packages that will be overwritten by the import, the import is automatic and all packages within the import are created.
If content validation fails, meaning, the content within the import is not identical to the content within the Content Source Alias, the Import Details page displays a Failed status in the Content Validation column and a Failed status in the Status column. Click Close to return to the Import List page.
Note: To resolve the failed validation, verify that you have selected the correct Content Source Alias and/or verify with the person deploying your content to ensure you have selected the correct Content Source Alias for export and import.

If the import is successful, the Import Details page updates to indicate that the import is successful and has completed. A green banner temporarily displays across the top of the page to indicate the import is successful. The Content Validation column displays a value of Passed, and the Status column displays as Complete. If any packages were overwritten by the import process, a message in the Messages column indicates which packages have been overwritten. Click Close to return to the Import Activity List page.

SmartSign Plus Fields During Import

The import process supports the following SmartSign Plus fields related to eOriginal Closing Center document types:

  • Preview: During import, this field is correctly interpreted and applied for each document and packet in the import file. The field controls whether a document can be previewed in the eOriginal Closing Center.
  • PreClose: During import, this field is correctly interpreted and applied for each document and packet in the import file. The field determines if a document is part of the pre-closing process in the eOriginal Closing Center.

These settings are only applied if the package has the Use eOriginal Closing Center toggle enabled. Documents continue to be handled as Base64 strings within the import contents.

Note: When importing packages that include Closing Center document types, the Import process will recognize and apply document-level Preview and PreClose settings provided the package has the Use eOriginal Closing Center toggle enabled and the environment feature flag PKGPKT.PreviewAndPrecloseFeature is set to True.
