Navigation

Expere EZ Config makes use of the following user interface features and conventions to accommodate the application workflow.

Cards

Cards are containers for various subsections of functionality within the application. For example, Packets and Barcodes will appear on cards on the right side of the application.

Username Drop Down

The username drop down displays in the top right corner of the page and allows users the ability to switch between accounts to which they have access.
Note: If you have access to more than 15 accounts, use the More button to load an additional 15 accounts. Then use the scrollbar to locate the account to work with.
The username drop down also contains the following links:
  • Help. Click to access the online documentation for the program.
  • Profile Settings. Click to access the Profile Settings page with Security Administration.
  • Log Out. Click to log out of the program.

Left Navigation Bar

The left navigation bar is a static navigation bar and is used to navigate between Expere EZ Config Packages and Packets components. There are two components available: Packages and Packets and More. When working in Packages and Packets, clicking the Packages and Packets icon in the navigation bar opens the Package List page.

Click More to display a list of additional menu options, including Repost, Import, and Export. Clicking any of these options opens the corresponding Packages and Packets functionality.

Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumbs at the top of the page identify where you are in the workflow. For example, Packages > Package Details. Breadcrumbs may also be used to navigate the application by clicking the breadcrumb details to return to a previous page within the workflow.

Navigation Conventions

The following navigation conventions are also in place.

  • Vertical ellipses. The vertical elipses appears on some controls to indicate further actions are available for section. For example, on the Packets card, a packet name displays with a vertical elipses. Hover over it to display a menu of options available for that packet. Currently, Delete is available as the only option.
  • Horizontal ellipses. The horizontal ellipses indicate a tooltip that is used to display the full text string value when hovering over because the value is too long to display on the regular view.
  • Information icon. The information icon displays additional information about the element, such as on the Package Details page, in the Document List card, when hovering over a specific document. When hovering over this icon, the application displays the Document Rule Source for the selected document within the package.

Inactivity, Timeouts, and Logins

After 20 minutes of inactivity, the system will time out, and upon any action within the application after expiration, the system will display message and prompt to log in again.

Note: A cookie is used for browser session tracking with sliding expiration. If there is server activity in the second half of the 20 minute interval, the cookie resets and a new 20 minute interval starts. If the server activity occurs only in the first half of the 20 minute interval, the cookie still expires at 20 minutes, and the user must reauthenticate by logging in to the program again.

A timeout popup warning message displays 5 minutes before your session expires and provides an opportunity to either extend the session or sign out.
