Data Entry Fields

Data entry fields are another option to collect data. Data entry fields may contain a single data point or multiple data points. Clicking into the data entry field will enable the field.

When the data to be collected is a single data point, the field appears as a blue box encompassing the data point.

When multiple data points are used within a field, you will be prompted to complete each data point.

Prohibited data entry

There are situations when you cannot enter data into a field: for example: when the data point (XPath) does not exist in the schema. When hovering over a field that prohibits data entry, the prohibition symbol will appear.
