Tools Menu

This section explains all tools accessible within the Tools menu.

• Search InfoDev SharePoint Repository: Entering a term within this text box performs a search for that term within the InfoDev SharePoint repository. The result of the search is displayed within your web browser.
• Oxygen Web Author: Displays the online Oxygen Web Author within your web browser
• Oxygen Content Fusion: Displays Oxygen Content Fusion (used for review processes) within your web browser
• Oxygen Settings Backup and Restore: Displays the Oxygen Backup/Restore screen. This is used to backup your Oxygen settings and restore them should you need to for a future Oxygen upgrade.
• View Publishing Log: Displays the publishing log within the Editor.
• DITA Folder:
  • Check for files update: Allows you to manually check for updates for the C:\DITA folder files
  • Install/Update USBWebserver: Allows you to install or update USBWebserver, which is used as a local web server for testing your transformed content.
• USBWebserver: Provides access to USBWebserver features, including:
  • Start
  • Stop
  • Show USBWebserver window
• Miscellaneous: Provides access to miscellaneous helpful tools such as controlling your screen saver and clearing your web browser cache.
