For Commercial, HE, and Consumer users

For a depository institution lender that is a member of an FHLB district, this is the lender's home office district. For other non-member lenders, a blank value or "Not a Member" would apply (or the field may be left blank). The value has limited impact on content. For example, for FHLB members wanting to create electronically-documented transactions, the value entered here may control availability of an additional content option defining digital note or electronic collateral terms for certain loans, where supported, subject to specific to FHLB district conditions and requirements.

For other Lending users

For a depository institution lender that is a member of an FHLB district, this is the lender's home office district. For other non-member lenders, a blank value or "Not a Member" would apply (or the field may be left blank). The value has limited impact on content — for example, controlling the availability of certain provisions limited to certain loan types that may be subject to district-specific requirements as they may change from time to time.
