Review Converted Data

After completing the conversion process, review your converted data in EZ Config Default Data. Refer to Data Exceptions for additional details about data conversion exceptions.

  • Some data has converted to new Policy types. Refer to your Content Guide for additional information.
  • Some policies have changed names:
  • The Form Setup Policy in OPPSA has been split into two policies in EZ Config Default Data: Document Setup Policy and Account Document Setup Policy. See Form Setup Policy Exceptions for additional information.
  • Review all policies for NEW data points. Also, there are new Policy Types that did not exist in OPPSA that you may consider creating.
  • Review policies to determine if any policies have converted with warnings. The warnings may display if during the conversion there is not information to set an applicability in the policy. The policy gets set to NULL and displays as Not Selected. If necessary, review the policy and save the applicability with a valid value.
  • Review all products to determine if any products have converted with warnings. The warnings may display if the product does not have policies with the applicabilities defined for the Line of Business. If necessary, review the product and save the applicability with a valid policy value.
Note: 'Not Selected' is a valid selection option, starting with the November 2021 release.
Tip: If a policy displays a warning icon, create a copy of the policy to set an applicability. Bulk Copy and/or Repost of this policy could create issues if this warning is not resolved.

Review each of the Policy and Product pages in EZ Config Default Data to ensure any additional fields that were not available in OPPSA that apply to your organization are completed.

It is considered best practice to run sample transactions to generate the various disclosures to ensure the documents generate as expected after the conversion and setup of EZ Config Default Data is complete.
