- Expere is implemented in a Blue/Green environment deployment approach that involves maintaining two identical production environments: one actively serving users (e.g., Blue) and the other idle (e.g., Green). Updates are applied to the idle environment, allowing for testing, before switching live traffic from one environment to the other, minimizing downtime and risk during deployments. Wolters Kluwer rotates environments on a monthly basis. The rotation happens in minutes.

- Expere does not manage the generated documents beyond the initial assembly and return of the documents in the response to the calling system. Workflow, routing of the documents for versioning, printing, imaging and archival is a function of the calling origination system.
