Integration

  • Expere uses a set of REST or SOAP APIs used to receive and pass xml data. Transaction data collected via a front-end origination system (calling system) is passed to Expere and based upon the data, documents are selected and generated. The generated documents are returned to the calling system. When a successful transmission is made to Expere a unique Transaction ID is included and can be used by any system to retrieve the documents. Expere also has the functionality to receive data from one system and past the results to another. Expere Content can be shared across applications.
  • Each Expere customer is assigned a service account which is configured as part of initial setup and configuration with their origination solution. Each individual user will not have credentials. Expere is not responsible for authentication and authorization of individual users. The origination is responsible for restricting access, which would in turn allow or not allow access to Expere.
  • Wolters Kluwer offers two different environments for Expere: Customer Test and Production. The Customer Test environment gives customers the ability to consume and test new features, functionality and content. It is updated 10 business days prior to scheduled Expere Production environment releases.
  • Expere follows a production maintenance schedule to ensure the system performs optimally. Production maintenance may occur during Wolters Kluwer’s standard window: 10:00 PM Saturday to 6:00 AM Sunday (CT) and 10:00 PM the third Thursday of each month to 2:00 AM the third Friday (CT). Maintenance employs a Region A/Region B deployment model to alternate hosting regions, ensuring continuous availability.
