Tightened-up liability shield

Sec. 351): The Act amends the liability shield for institutions that report possible violations of law. First, the shield is expanded to cover liability under a contract or other legally enforceable agreement, including an arbitration agreement. Second, the amendment clarifies that the shield also applies to any director, officer, employee, or agent of an institution who makes, or requires another to make, such a disclosure.
