  • OneSumX Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Collateral Owner Date of Birth

Corrected an issue that caused the collateral (property) owner date of birth (DOB) to not be included in data submitted to OneSumX CDD as expected. Modified the administration module to enable the collection of middle name values on the Contacts and Organization Details pages. • Clearing Policy Group Values for Loan

November 2023 Hotfix (11/30/2023)
Changes
  • Unable to Generate Documents

Corrected an issue that caused the document generation process to fail when using the Create Documents option on the Print page. Changes
  • Public Notice Regarding Foreclosure-HI
Added the option to exclude borrower signatures on the Public Notice Regarding Foreclosure-HI. This change allows borrower signatures to be included or excluded on the Public Notice Regarding Foreclosure-HI document based on the Document Policy and not case by case on the transaction menu on the Document Data page.
    Note:
You are encouraged to review your document policies to determine if changes are needed. For existing transactions, the signature line will print to the document. If you refresh a previously chosen Document Policy or select a new one on the Loan Definition page, the choice made in your Document Policy is applied when you create documents.
  • Removed 11th District FHLB Cost of Funds Index

Removed the 11th District FHLB Cost of Funds index option. The index is discontinued and no longer available in Administration or as an option on the Calculations page for new transactions. The index, if selected, remains valid and is used on existing transactions.

The 11th District FHLB Cost of Funds index option was removed as an option from the list of supported indexes in Administration and the Index Name lists on the Calculations page, in templates, and on the Variable Policies in the Administration. On the Calculations page, a informational message was added indicating the index is no longer supported in cases where an existing policy or template is applied to a new transaction.

  • Non-Escrowed Property Costs Not Updating on the Loan Estimate

Corrected an issue that prevented non-escrowed property items from displaying on the Estimates Taxes, Insurance & Assessments section in the Loan Estimate. This issue occurs in cases where a transaction is imported through a template. The processing logic was updated to account for transaction data imported through templates.

  • Lending Page Source Filter

Corrected an issue that prevented the Source filter from being available on Transaction pages. The Source filter option shows the source of the loan inquiry and can be used to search, sort, and filter loan information on the Lending Page. In the source column, loans imported through the Mortgagebot interface are shown as MB 3.4, Fannie Mae version 3.2 as FNMA 3.2, standard import interface as STD 3.1, and the online application is shown as OLA.

  • Closing Phase Fees

Corrected an issue that caused the status and calculated fee amounts to display inaccurate values on the Closing Phase Fees section. The status field on the Closing Phase Fee section was incorrectly indicating a Changed status in cases where no changes were applied and certain calculated fee amounts (Calculated Amt values) were not properly reflected on the Fee section.

Corrected an issue that allowed buydown options to appear as an editable option on the Notes section in the Document Data page. Prior to this correction, the Temporary Interest Rate Buydown option was available for editing.

  • Housing Counseling Agencies Notice

Corrected an issue that caused the Housing Counseling Agencies Notice to fail to display results for the 71051 ZIP Code when entered on the collateral for parties on the transaction. The expected result is that 10 closest housing counselors to the ZIP Code are returned.

Customers of this service have been migrated to use the Factual Data by CBC interface.

  • Closing Disclosure Paid By Lender and Lender Credit

Corrected an issue that caused the Variance Type on the Calculations > Fee Details panel to incorrectly indicate 0% when the paid to/paid by is set to Lender. This leads to the associated fee being improperly identified on the Closing Disclosure document as Paid By Lender and Lender Credit. The expected behavior is that the Variance Type updates to a blank value and is a non-editable field.

  • Settlement Agent Refresh

Corrected an issue where the Refresh button in the Settlement Agent Contact list (on the Loan Definition page) was not displayed properly and prevented the selection of a settlement agent from the list of options.

The option is available to the admin role and the organization must click Save to confirm status as a qualified participant for the eCBSV service.

Once selected, all new transactions are automatically enabled for e-signature capabilities for the Authorization To Release SSN Verification document. On the same section, the Override Calculated Verified Assets Value checkbox option, when selected, uses the manually entered value if needed.
    Important:
This change will render the verified assets (amount) field in the Borrower Funds to Close section on existing transactions as a non-editable field and set the assets and liabilities checkbox as "unchecked" by default on the Financial Analysis page. You should review all existing transactions (that are not closed) to confirm the accuracy of the verified assets amount in the Borrower Funds to Close section of the Uniform Underwriting and Transmittal Summary.

    • Added a section Previous Name (line 1c) used to list a previous name present on the last tax return if different from the current name (line 1a). The previous name can be entered directly on the form.
    • Added a section Client Company (line 5d). The list of alternate addresses in Administration has been extended to support a new type, Client Company on the IRS Tax Return.

    • A new alternate address option is now available. The type, Client Company on the IRS Tax Return, prints to the Request for Transcript of Tax Return IRS 4506C IVES document when selected. Specifically, the type populates section 5d. Client Company on the IRS form.
    • A new alternative address option has been added, IVES participant name, address, and SOR mailbox ID to the list of options in the Alternative Address section in the Admin Panel. The existing alternative address, Address which IRS should use to send a copy of the IRS Tax Return, was modified to now include the ability to enter the SOR Mailbox ID.
    • The revised form supports an Authorized Representative for the first and the second filer. An authorized representative is the person delegated the authority by the taxpayer to sign on their behalf. The name of the authorized representative can be entered directly in the signature section of the form (on the Document Data page).

  • CAIVRS Confirmation Code Collected for Borrowers
The location of the CAIVRS Confirmation Code in the application was changed. The CAIVRS Confirmation Code is now available on the Party Details page; previously, it was located on the Document Data page.
    Important:
You are encouraged to revisit existing FHA transactions that are not closed and enter the CAIVRS Confirmation Code on the Document Data page to the Party Details page manually.

  • Define Primary Employment on Party Details Page

Updated the Party Details page to allow the designation of a current employer as the primary employment for the borrower by selecting the Is This Primary Employment checkbox in the employment information section. The option is available for current employment exclusively and can only be applied to a single current employment. When selected, the employment will be set in section 1b of the URLA. If the option is not selected, then the primary employment is determined based on the employment with the most recent start date.

Changes
  • Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Revised Documents of 2021

The Select 2021 Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Rewrite Documents checkbox has been removed from the Document Data page. This checkbox allowed a user to switch between old and revised versions of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac forms. The checkbox is no longer needed as starting from January 1, 2023, all transactions should use the revised Fannie/Freddie documents.

    Note:
If a user started a transaction with old Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac forms and wants to proceed with the revised documents, the user should copy the transaction, then the copied loan will have the revised forms automatically available.

The Loan Product Advisor specification requirements for v5.2 has been implemented.

    Changes include the following:

    • The Homeownership Education and Housing Counseling section, located on the Application page, has been updated to collect the information that is printed to the Fannie Mae Freddie Mac 1103 Supplemental Consumer document and sent in the Loan Product Advisor request.
    • The Loan Program Identifier drop-down list, located on the Loan Product Advisor interface view, has been converted to checkboxes with the corresponding program name, and allows multiple programs to be selected. Please refer to Help for the most popular program combinations.
  • Virginia Recordable Documents

There is a known issue on the Virginia recordable documents where an extra combination of symbols "</u>" are printing next to some of the surnames shown on the forms. This is a display error only and is limited to the Document page. The PDF generation of the Print page is working correctly. The issue will be resolved in a future release.
