Type

The type indicates a material category that applies to the product. Types includes the following:

  • Release: This type indicates a product material such as new product version.

  • Pre-Release: This type is used for E-Forms to indicate the documents that will be in the next release.

  • Hotfix: This type indicates the material is a patch for a release version.

  • Other: This types indicates materials that do fall into the above categories.
