User Interface Overview
This section describes how to use common terms when describing a user interface in documents and help.
These following guidelines were considered when adding terms and descriptions:
- The Microsoft Style Guide was used a reference.
- Terms were used that apply to end users and may differ from technical terms used to describe a user interface item for a development team.
- An emphasis was placed on simplifying terms so they can be used consistently and provide a clear relationship to a user interface item.
- Terms commonly used across Wolters Kluwer products are listed. For terms not included, refer to the Microsoft Style Guide.
- Terms will be added and updated as user interface references change.
