What's New 2019

The following release history describes key enhancements and important changes made to the product during 2019.

  • Users can now reset the transactions or tasks graph independently back to their saved state. now displays on the graph after a filter is applied to the graph or a graph is selected.
  • Custom Views have been modified to show filter options that have been selected but do not contain any data. A filter option without data will display with a O. Previously, filter options without data did not display, and a user did not know the filters were selected as part of a custom view.

  • The name of a modified filter will now display in italics so a user can easily identify when a custom view has been modified.

  • A Reset View option has been added. This option resets a view back to its last saved state.

  • A None option has been added to the Transactions graph to show open tasks that are not assigned to a stage. This option is also available in the Active stage facet filter on the Transactions grid.

  • With this version of Vanceo, a user can apply categories to attachments. Applying categories helps manage and organize the attachments associated with transactions.
    • Users can categorize attachments for a transaction during or any time after the upload operation.

    • Users can find the attachments by searching for the category name.

    • More than one category can be applied to an attachment.

    • To create and apply categories to attachments, a user must be assigned the appropriate permissions in Security Administration.

    • Categories are optional.

  • This version of Vanceo introduces the ability to add attachments to transactions. Users can upload, download, rename, and delete attachments for a transaction. Search has been added so users can easily find attachments in a transaction. Additionally, users can preview one or multiple PDF files without downloading. If multiple PDF files are selected, the files will be combined into a single PDF for review.

    Adding attachments to transactions can streamline loan processing by making supporting documentation (Application, Credit Reports, Flood and Insurance documents etc.) and other related attachments directly available in the transaction.

    Only users assigned the Upload Attachments, Rename Attachments, and Delete Attachments permissions in Security Administration can upload, rename, and delete attachments. If you do not have access to these functions in the Assessments grid on the Transaction Summary, contact your Vanceo administration and request the permissions be assigned in Security Administration.

  • The Share Custom Views feature has been improved to allow for a new view owner to be assigned a view shared by someone who is no longer a valid user.

  • This version of Vanceo introduces the ability to share customized dashboard views with other users or roles. Users with appropriate permission can share views. Sharing custom views allows teams to better work and collaborate together based on a common view, specific to their needs. Use shared views to standardize your loan processes across an organization or within a department.

  • To improve visibility and access to timely information, a visual indicator has been added to any task or transaction that contains a comment. The task comment indicator is visible on the Tasks Grid on the dashboard and the Transaction Summary page, while a similar indicator for transaction level comments is shown on the Dashboard Transactions Grid.

    • Select from the Dashboard Tasks Grid or the Transaction Summary to view all task comments within Task Details Page.

    • Select from the Transaction Grid to view all transaction comments within Transaction Summary Page.

    • only displays for a task or transaction with at least one comment.

  • You can now use Integrated Tasks in your Vanceo Processes. For Help information, select Integrated Tasks and contact a Wolters Kluwer Administrator if you want to take advantage of this functionality.
    • Integrated Tasks: You can now take the Start Task action on Vanceo Integrated tasks. Selecting Start Task on a Vanceo Integrated task will take you to the logical starting location to complete the task from within the transaction details.

    • For examples of Decision Tasks and Integrated Task Definitions, select Vanceo Default Process v2019.04.07.02 (May 2019).

  • With this release, Vanceo supports printing the Transaction Summary with all task information and comments (both transaction and task).

    Regardless of the comment option selected on the Transaction Summary page, all comments will be printed. For Help information, select Transaction Comments.

  • With this release, users can now see the process name associated with a transaction by selecting

  • You can now use Decision Tasks in your Vanceo Processes. Decision Tasks require task assignees to select a decision outcome before completing the task. A decision outcome is irreversible and typically leads a financial institution’s process down a different path. After a decision outcome is selected and confirmed, the task is denoted as completed .

    For Help information about this new function, select Decision Tasks Please contact a Wolters Kluwer Administrator if you want to take advantage of this feature.

  • With this release, a confirmation message will now display after successfully converting a transaction to Vanceo from ComplianceOne. Select Continue to work in the converted transaction or select Back to ComplianceOne to go to the ComplianceOne home page to convert or work in another transaction. This enhancement will assist with moving your in-progress ComplianceOne pipeline over to Vanceo.

  • This version of Vanceo improves the recently introduced functionality of configuring the custom stage order for a process.

    With this release, any stage that is not actively used will be automatically removed both from the Transactions Graph and the 'Active Stage' filter on the Dashboard. The Dashboard will only display stages that are either in-use or exist in process templates that are ready for use and in a 'Ready' state. Inactive stages used in the past will not display in the Dashboard but will continue to display in Settings in a disabled (greyed out) state.

    For Help information, select Custom Stages Order.

  • Users can now specify the order of default and custom stages that appear in the Transactions graph and the Active Stages filter pane. Previously, custom stages displayed after the five standard stages (Application, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, Post Closing) on the Transactions graph and the Active Stages Filter pane.

    If you want to change the stages order (including custom stages) that displays on the Transactions graph and Active Stages filter pane for your current Vanceo processes, select Custom Stages Order for Help information about changing the order and the Security Administration permission required for this feature.

    Please contact a Wolters Kluwer administrator if you want to add custom stages to your Vanceo Processes.

January
  • The Complete Transaction feature has been added to Vanceo. Users with the Complete Transaction permission in Security Administration can take this action to complete an open transaction and make it read only.

  • The Reopen Transaction action has been added to Vanceo. Users with the Reopen Transaction permission in Security Administration can now take this action in the transaction header to reopen a completed transaction to make edits. For Help information, select Reopen a Transaction.

  • Vanceo Processes can now be set up to automatically complete after the last task in a process is finished. For Help information, select Auto Complete.

  • If a user has been assigned the Manage Users,Basic Access for Security Administration, and Add User to Account permissions in Security Administration, a Manage option is now available on the Users page. Selecting Manage will open Security Administration where a user can perform user management functions.
