Program Changes
  • This release does not introduce new features or major fixes; however, it includes backend enhancements designed to improve overall platform stability, performance, and security.
  • Resolved Issue: UCD File Generation

    Resolved an issue that could cause UCD file generation to fail during closing for Freddie Mac loans under certain SmartSign Plus licensing and configuration scenarios.

  • IRS Form 4506 (Request for Copy of Tax Return)

    Updated IRS Form 4506, Request for Copy of Tax Return, to reflect the latest IRS revision date of April 2025 (4-2025). This update ensures that customers have access to the current version of the form when requesting copies of tax returns.

    In addition to the revision date change, the IRS made several content updates.
    • On page 1 of the form, in the Tip paragraph, the “Note” text was revised to include minor text changes.
    • On page 1 of the form, line 3 was updated to include inmate numbers in the address example.
    • On page 2 of the form, in the Specific Instructions section, line 3 was revised to now include additional guidance regarding inmate identification numbers, names, and addresses.

    These updates align the form with current IRS requirements and guidance, helping ensure accurate completion and submission of Form 4506.

State-Specific
  • Nebraska
    Revised Real Estate Transfer Statement-NE to align with the model form.
    • Language addressing duplicative information has been added directly under the Instructions section.
    • The Documentary Stamp Tax section has been updated to reflect the increased rate of $2.32, effective September 3, 2025.
  • Indiana
    Revised Motor Vehicle Title Application-IN match the Application for Certificate of Title for a Vehicle (Form 205).
    • The revision date has changed.
    • The box collecting information on out-of-state titles has been removed.
    • The lead in text for Purchase Date will now show a four digit year.
  • Kentucky
    Revised Motor Vehicle Title Application-KY to match the model form:
    • A new 'other' description field is added to the "If Duplicate is selected, the original Certificate of Title" options.
    • Engine type has been added to VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION section.
    • New options added to the TITLE BRAND DISCLOSURE.
    • Section 2 contains new text: "Caution: Read carefully before selecting a box".
    • A new field "model" and checkbox "Trade-in" are added to SECTION 2: ODOMETER DISCLOSURE, TOTAL CONSIDERATION, & TRADE-IN INFORMATION
    • Seller (2) name field is added to the Seller box.
  • Idaho

    Updated Motor Vehicle Title Notification for Idaho to match the latest revision of Duplicate Title Application. Changes to the document include updating the document image, the QR Code, the last hyperlink on page 2, the revision date and approved expiration date format.

  • South Dakota
    Updated the Certificate of Trust to include language change for non-real estate collateral. The paragraph:
    • The trust is l irrevocable / revocable and has not been revoked. This Certificate of Trust l amends / revokes all prior Certificates of Trust for the property that is legally described as: [collateral description].

    Now prints as:

    • Certificates of Trust for the property instead of Certificates of Trust for the real estate if collateral is non-real estate."
