Program Changes
  • APR Fee Validation and Calculation Improvements

This enhancement improves validation and recalculation behavior when APR-marked fees exceed the loan amount on the Calculations page. Previously, when the Loan Amount was very large, and a fee is entered as a percent amount, there were scenarios when the Calculations cannot be performed based on the data entered, review your data (such as the Rate change Information or APR fees) and recalculate warning would display. However, the Fee(s) could not be updated and the calculations would remain blocked.

With this update, the system now properly reevaluates APR-marked fees whenever fee amounts are modified. If a fee, or the combined total of APR-marked fees, exceeds the loan amount, the application continues to display an error and prevent calculations. Once the fees are corrected so that the total APR-marked fees are less than or equal to the loan amount, the error message is automatically removed and the transaction can be recalculated using the updated values.
