Oklahoma Mortgage Tax Calculation Issue: An issue was identified with the Oklahoma mortgage tax calculation feature that rounds Loan Amount/Amount Requested values when Oklahoma mortgage tax fees are present. In certain scenarios, the rounded loan amount was not limited to Oklahoma mortgage tax calculations. Impact: For Oklahoma transactions that included State Tax Stamps - Mortgage and/or City/County Tax Stamps - Mortgage fees, the rounded loan amount could also be used when calculating unrelated fees, such as origination and appraisal fees. This could result in inaccurate fee calculations for affected transactions. Solution: The Oklahoma mortgage tax calculation logic has been corrected to ensure that rounded loan amount values are used only for Oklahoma mortgage tax fee calculations, in accordance with Oklahoma Statute §68-1904 and customer requirements. Additionally, the Fee Detail screen has been updated to replace the Rounded Loan Amount indicator with OK Mortgage Tax Rate, providing clearer visibility into the Oklahoma-specific calculation method while maintaining the existing display experience. |
