EZ Config: Security Issues and Monthly component updates

Summary: As part of a regular cadence to review and upgrade any items used by EZ Config for security issues and monthly component upgrades, we have upgraded the following:

Default Data / EZ Service: Updates to support new account level data (FHLB Member/District)
Summary: Support was added at the Account level to optionally collect FHLB Member/District data when Account Type is one of the following:
  • Bank Holding Company Credit Union
  • Mortgage Company
  • National Bank
  • State Member Bank
  • State Non-member Bank
  • Savings and Loan Holding Company
  • Savings Association / Savings and Loan
  • Savings Bank

As part of this enhancement, upon saving the Account level data, additional updates were made to Default Data and EZ Service which will populate organization and policy records (existing and new) with FHLB Member/District when specified like the other Account level data.

EZ Service: Updates to support CompliEditor

Summary: Updates were made to EZ Service to meet CompliEditor requirements to support generation of merged PDF output. These updates do not affect EZ Config Default Data and Packages and Packet functionality.
Default Data self-hosted users: Content Security Policy Header in Report-Only Mode

Summary: A Content-Security-Policy-Report-Only header has been added to the custom header middleware in Default Data to introduce a baseline Content Security Policy (CSP) for evaluation. The CSP policy was designed to restrict resources such as scripts, styles, images, and fonts to safer domains, starting with default-src 'self', with scripts and styles only allowed from self or trusted sources, and images/fonts similarly scoped.
Note: No additional action is required at this time.

Summary: The EZ Config Packages and Packets User Guide: Barcodes and Barcode Details: Defining the Barcode Pattern help topics were enhanced to include notes on avoiding the use of "underscores" in the barcode syntax for Barcode 3of9.
DD: updated to support larger size PDFs
  • Type: Enhancement

Summary: We addressed an issue in Default Data's Document Preview and Generate interface where Terms and Conditions documents larger than two (2) MB failed to appear, resulting in a blank screen instead of the expected document outline preview. As a result, Default Data was updated to successfully load and display PDFs larger than two (2) MB in the Document Preview and Generate interface.
Note: While there is no fixed browser PDF or blob URL size limit, practical limits exist based on browser PDF viewer implementations and available device memory. Larger PDFs, often driven by embedded images such as organization logos, could exceed what the existing iFrame loading method could reliably handle. Default Data has been updated to support loading larger PDFs using an improved rendering approach, minimizing the need for customers to remove or resize logos as a workaround,
