Confidentiality of SARs

You are prohibited from revealing the contents of a Suspicious Activity Report or even that one has been filed. [12 CFR 21.11(k)] Should you get a request in any form, even in the form of a subpoena, for such information, you must decline, citing 12 CFR 21.11(k) or other applicable law and must notify your supervisory agency.
