How do I create a Realtor Commission fee?

According to 12 CFR 1026.37(g)(4) and 12 CFR 1026.38(g)(4), commissions (as well as other closely related party types (e.g., real estate agent, Realtor, real estate broker)) should be disclosed in section H. Other of the Closing Disclosure.

The following steps can be used to setup a fee in Administration on the Fees and Charges page or at transaction time on the Calculations page, select:

  • '+ Fee' to add a new fee
  • User Defined for the Fee Name
  • Other for the Section
  • Seller for the Paid By
  • Other for the Paid To

The Variance Type can be left blank. The fee will print on the Closing Disclosure in Section H. Other under the Seller Paid column. The amount is also included in 02. Closing Costs Paid at Closing (J) under section N. Due from Seller at Closing.
