InfoDev Tools is the single source for all applications, support tools and links required for authoring Information Development webhelp.

InfoDev Tools contains the following tools, information and benefits:
  • a single source to install all required tools, and framework and support files
  • a single identifiable location for installation and setup information
  • PubAssist: the publishing application designed to simplify the process of publishing documentation to the InfoDev servers
  • Various other tools and links to InfoDev sites and pages you access daily
Important: InfoDev Tools requires .NET Desktop Runtime. If you receive the following message, you must install it before running InfoDev Tools.

InfoDev Tool Portable

If you prefer, you can use the portable zip archive (64-bit) distribution instead. Just unzip it in a folder where you have write permissions and run InfoDev Tools.exe. - nothing to install and it does not conflict with any installed application.
