Bulk Copy Product and Policy Applicabilities
Summary: This release includes updates to the bulk copy functionality to include applicabilities. The applicabilities now display in the applicability card of the copied policy and product. Note that the applicabilities should be the same in both contents being copied. If there is a need to change the applicability, perform an individual copy rather than a bulk copy.
Update Insurer to Insurer Type
Summary: This release updates to the program to change the term "Insurer" to "Insurer Type" across the program.
.NET Core Runtime
Summary: This release includes updates to the deployment process that have eliminated the need for the .NET Core Runtime to be installed on the server.

Summary: This release includes updates to the column sorting arrows to ensure that the sort order behavior is consistent across the program. Policy Applicability Added and Changes to Organizations to Support Deposit Line of Business
Summary: This release includes changes to Organizations and the addition of Policy Applicability functionality to support the Deposit line of business. While these changes were made to accommodate Deposit functionality, note that these changes are available for all lines of business.
  • The Organizations page has been updated to include information for Account Type, Charter, Insurer, and Jurisdictions and the ability to edit those account details. Refer to the following Account Details changelog for additional information.
  • The following Policy Applicability additions have also been made:
    • A Policy Applicability card has been added to the Policy Details page. This card displays selections made on the Add Policy popup page.
    • Policy Applicability fields have been added when creating a new policy.
    • Policy Applicability fields have been added to copy policy functionality. Applicabilities will copy from the original policy but can be changed. When making changes, any newly available applicabilities will be available for selection. Likewise, any applicabilities that have been removed will no longer be available.
  • An Applied Applicabilities card has been added to the Product Details page. This card displays selections made for account purpose, type, etc. Additional applicabilities can be assigned from this card.
  • The Assign Policies page now displays the selected applicability values. These values may be changed on the Assign Policies page.

Summary: A new Account Details page has been added, allowing you to define Account Type, Charter, Insurer, and Account Jurisdictions. These selections may control the data collection questions and options available with the Policies and Organizations pages. The Account Details page is available from the Organization page.

The Account Details display within the Organizations page. These details also include the Status, Last Updated, and Last Updated By fields.

This feature was added in support of the Deposit functionality, but will be available to non-Deposit users of the application.

When you click Save on the Account Details page, the program updates ALL organizations and policies across all lines of business. This process may take several minutes to complete. You should avoid editing, opening, or creating new organizations or policies until this process has completed.

Foreign Key Indexes

New Roles and Permissions Available within Security Administration

Summary: This release includes the addition of the following role and permission to the Security Administration component. This role and permission are being added in support of the upcoming import/export feature within EZ Config Default Data:
  • Default Data Power User (role)
  • Import Default Data Details (permission)

Users assigned to this role will have this new permission along with the Basic Access for Default Data permission assigned. Note that this role is not automatically assigned to any user.

Enhanced Timeout
Summary: This release includes the addition of timeout popup warning message. This message displays 5 minutes before your session expires and provides an opportunity to either extend the session or sign out.

Summary: This release includes some user interface changes implemented for an upcoming feature to allow Default Data to support Expere Deposit content. A new card has been added to the Policy Detail page. Currently, no information displays within this card. More details about this card will be shared when the full feature is released.
Updated Transform Variable
Summary: This release includes an update to the transform variables to accommodate the Health Check functionality for the Repost Service. The sample transform.xml file has also been updated.
Update-Transaction and Update-Transaction by Name APIs
Summary: In this release we have duplicated the Update Transaction API and Update Transaction by Name API from the Default Data web services to the EZ Gateway web services. The APIs available within EZ Gateway have been enhanced to support multiple account scenarios for deposit lines of business. These APIs within Default Data will be deprecated from the Default Data web service, and you should instead use the APIs available within the EZ Gateway web service.

Summary: This release includes the addition of repost activity reporting, which allows you to see when your content source alias has been redirected to a different library. We have added a Repost icon to the left navigation panel in the program. Click this icon to open the Repost Activity page.

When working with newly released content and keeping the same source alias, the tool managing the content will trigger the Repost. Users are able to view the details of the repost with the pages added for this functionality. No Copy is required for the Organizations, Products, and Policies associated to this content. If using a new content source alias with the newly released content, then a Copy function would be required.

The Heath Check functionality has been updated to include the EZ Config Service.

Login Page Redirect After Expired Session

New Transform Variable
Summary: A new transform variable was added recently as a result of changes to functionality between Default Data and STS. The following transform variable is documented within the Expere EZ Config Default Data Installation Guide. Additionally the sample transform provided in the Installation Guide and on the release media has been updated.

Data Certificate Installation
Summary: This release includes changes to the STS Administration data certification installation process. We have updated the installation procedure with a script that automatically generates and places the necessary certificates. You no longer have to locate the certificates on the release media and manually import them to the specified location. As a result, the data certificates previously provided on the release media have been removed.
Authorization Logging

User Profile Update
Summary: This release includes an enhancement to the User Profile link available within the application. Now, when clicking the username/profile link in the upper right hand corner of the page, the menu includes an option for Profile Settings, which navigates you to the Profile Settings page with Security Administration within a separate browser tab.
Expere EZ Config Support Permission Added
Summary: This release includes the addition of the Expere EZ Config Support access permission. This permission provides view-only access to all accounts within the system and is intended for support role purposes. This permission provides access to every account within your system; thus, we recommend providing this permission to select users only. Users with this permission have the ability to view (and thus, troubleshoot) all accounts across your system, but are prevented from inadvertently modifying any data within those accounts.
