EZ Config REST APIs
Summary: The Expere EZ Config Packages and Packets Integration Services have been updated to now require a client credential flow. This update means that any call to the Expere EZ Config Packages and Packets REST APIs will require a Client ID, a Cert, and a Scope.

Error Saving Packet Resolved when Modifying Document Copy/Watermarks and Editing Packet Document List

Summary: This release resolves an error that occurred during saving of a packet if the user had modified document-level copy or watermark information and subsequently attempted to add or remove documents but cancelled the action without saving.
Barcode Rendering Supports Transaction Data
Summary:

Expere Documentation Services Document Generation Services barcode rendering logic has been enhanced to support resolving transaction data schema points (xpaths) specified in the barcode pattern. The Expere EZ Config barcode pattern field has been expanded to allow for entry of schema points.

Checkboxes Removed from Package Details

Resolved "HTTP Error 400" Authentication Error

Summary: When logging into the Packages and Packets Application, some users with a large number of assigned permissions experienced an error stating "HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long." This issue has been resolved, and claims data is now stored within the database to minimize the cookie size.

Summary: This release includes the ability to specify copy and watermark information at the document level, overriding the setting defined for the packet.
Updates to DB Script Permissions
Summary: The Packages and Packets database script permissions have been updated so that the user executing the database install script no longer needs the Sysadmin permission for the CreateKeyRepositoryTable and ApplyMigration steps. Only the DB Owner permission is required for these two steps.

Note: The Sysadmin permission is still required for the DropDB, Create DB, CreateLogin, and CreateUser steps.

Summary: A Health Check Page is available to check the status of the Expere EZ Config Packages and Packets service/application.

Load Balancing Enhancements
Summary: The Expere EZ Config Packages and Packets application has been enhanced to support load balanced environments configured without session affinity (i.e. “Sticky Sessions”) by implementing Data Protection using SQL Server for the Key repository.

Previously, the application functioned only in load balanced environments that were configured with session affinity.

Review the Expere EZ Config Installation Guide for information regarding steps for configuring a new certificate.

Saving and Deleting Metadata

This application allows users to organize and manage documents and configure packages that align to your financial institution’s workflow phases. Expere EZ Config Packages and Packets integrates with Document Generation ServicesExpere Document Services, which is leveraged to process requests for document generation.
