Create a Group Container and Group / User Container
Use the Create Group screen to first create a group container and then create a user container as follows:
From the Groups menu, click Create.
Click All to display the existing hierarchy of groups, the top level of which is shown as + default (default sdx group)[group container]. Click this top-level link to create a new customer-level Group within the hierarchy.
On the Create Group screen, enter the Group Name and Group Description; typically, the Group Name is the customer’s company name. Note: Be sure to set the group can contain field to Groups when you set up the initial group container. Groups subsequently added to the container group may contain Users. Click Save.
Group containers may contain user containers and users, but User containers may contain only users.

The next screen is a settings screen for the group. Normally, you will not change settings for the group container. Note: You may need to change them for user containers. Click Save. Reviewer note: Add information about why this is relevant. Such as... are settings inherited, thus changing them would cause issues? Do new user containers get the same starting default configuration as any new group container? etc.
A popup window displays indicating the group settings were saved. Click OK.
Create user groups (for your customer’s staff members and recipients, for example) under the group container as follows.
From the Groups menu, click Create. Locate the group container created above by selecting the first letter of the group container name, then select the group container you just created.
On the Create Group screen, create a sub-group for users under the group container. Complete the Group Name and Group Description fields to describe the user’s role in SDX, such as recipients or staff/senders. Click the Users radio button because this group will contain users. Cick Save.
Use the group set-up screen to change group options, depending on customer requirements. For standard implementations, the default settings are sufficient. Click Save. See Maintain Groups for additional detail regarding the settings available on this screen.
