Configuring Transforms.xml and creating/installing Administration STS

This section explains the following:

Modiying the transforms.xml to use your Wolters Kluwer Financial Services Administration server.
Creating the Administration installer.
Installing AdministrationSTS.

Before beginning the upgrade process, users should backup their existing web.config for DocGenServices web.config and DocGenSvcHost app.config for reference when performing Configuring Transforms.xml and creating/installing Administration STS.

In the Transforms.xml file located in InstallTransformKit-osprey, change all server names to the desired server name or URL.
In the Transforms.xml file, add the following line after STS.UseDevEnvSettings:
- STS.TokenSigningCertThumbprint; insert the thumbprint value available from the Details tab for your certificate. Remove the spaces from the value and verify no hidden characters appear.
In the InitialTransformKit-Osprey file, change MsiTransform.exe-rename to MsiTransform.exe.
Run "run.bat" to create the STS and Administration installation file (OspreyInstaller_AdminSTS.msi).

Note: The OspreyInstaller_AdminSTS.msi installation file is located in InstallTransformKit-Osprey/Installs/ folder.
Run OspreyInstaller_AdminSTS.msi.
