Bookmark entries are created for Tagged PDFs to support the accessibility requirement to provide ‘Multiple Ways’ for navigation. Bookmarks are constructed as a flat tree (no nested hierarchy) of entries for any content identified as a heading (<H> tag). The bookmark label name includes the heading level as the prefix to the name (i.e. H1-Document Title). Bookmark entries are also generated for eSignature/eInitial fields. The bookmark label name for eSignature fields is constructed using standard text (‘Signature for’ or ‘Initial for’), SignerRole element value, and SignerName value (i.e. Signature for borrower Jane Doe).
