How do I update template parties with actual parties?

After selecting a template when creating a transaction from a template, replace the template parties with actual parties and remove parties as applicable. Replacing a template party provides the same options as adding a party to a transaction. You must replace or remove all template parties before saving the information and moving forward.

If you try to replace a template party with an actual party that is not of the same type (Individual, Sole Proprietorship, or Entity), an error message displays indicating you must replace the template party with the same type of party. After all template parties have been replaced or removed.

After all template parties have been replaced or removed, add additional parties on the Parties page. Because the additional parties were not part of the template, you must enter the information for that party throughout the transaction.
