When a file is submitted to Fannie Mae’s UCD solution, a Casefile ID is
required. Loans that have been underwritten in Desktop Underwriter (DU) will
have a Casefile ID issued by DU and will be included in the file when Create
UCD File is selected on the print page. You do not need to select
Fannie Mae UCD Resubmit if the loan was underwritten in DU.
Loans that have been underwritten manually or by another automated underwriting
system will be issued a Casefile ID when the UCD file is originally submitted to
Fannie Mae. The Casefile ID that Fannie Mae issued should be included in the UCD
file when it is resubmitted. To do this, select Fannie Mae UCD Resubmit,
enter the Casefile ID from Fannie Mae in Case Identifier, and select
Create UCD File on the print page.
