Expere EZ Config Default Data Upgrade Overview

This section provides an overview of the Expere EZ Config Default Data upgrade process.

Upgrade Process

  1. Consult the Expere EZ Config Default Data Changelog Entries on the Document Generation Services Landing Page and identify any modifications that would require transform updates.
  2. Uninstall Expere EZ Config Default Data.
  3. Upgrade Default Data Application - Creating, Installing and Configuring.
    1. Upgrade and configure the database. Refer to Install and configure the database for specific steps on upgrading and configuring the database. The steps for upgrading the database are identical to the steps for installing the database, which were completed with the initial Expere EZ Config Default Data installation.
    2. Modify the transforms.xml file.
    3. Install the Default Data application.
