There are three attributes that may be retained within the system pertaining to party and
transaction lists:
Number of records to display
Search filter criteria
Page number
The default number of records to display is 10 records. When you configure the number of
records to display within either the Party List or the Transaction list, that setting is
retained for the entire time you are logged in. Setting the number of records to display equal
to 25 in the transaction list automatically sets the number of records to display in the party
list to be 25 as well.
You may choose to enter search filter criteria when viewing a party list either from within a
transaction or from within Party Management. This search filter criteria text is retained
throughout a single transaction.
If you navigate to the dashboard, the search criteria filter is cleared.
If you choose to enter a search filter when in the +Related Party or Copy
Address areas, the search filter criteria text is not retained, and only used
within the current Copy Address or Add Related Party task.
The default page number for any list is page 1 (one). When in Party Management (not within a
transaction) as you page through the party list, the page number is retained.
Within Party Management only, you can select a party to edit from page 15 of the party
list. Once you are finished editing the party (through either Cancel or Save) you are brought
back to page 15 of the party list.
Within a transaction, if you see the party list (+Borrower/+Guarantor/+Owner/+Landlord/Copy
Address/+Related), the system always displays page one initially. You can then use the
pagination keys/search filters to move through the party records. However, subsequent requests
to the party list within the same transaction will always begin on page one.
The party list can be sorted from within a transaction or from within the Party Management PageParty Management Page. The sort preferences are
retained throughout a single transaction.
When you navigate to the dashboard, the sort preferences are cleared.
When you sort from within the +Related Party, or Copy Address areas, the sort
preferences are not retained, and only used within the current Copy Address or Add
Related Party task.
To sort on multiple columns hold down the shift key and click a column. The column clicked
first is the primary sort field.
The party list can be sorted on name or
SSN/EIN. When sorting by SSN/EIN, the values are sorted and displayed first based on SSN and
then by EIN.
Party Management supports the collection of Employment
History for an Individual and Sole Proprietorship. The data is only used in documents when
creating a transaction and the party is a Borrower or Cosigner. If a Guarantor is added to a
transaction and the party is an Individual or Sole Proprietorship the Employment History
accordion will be available, however the data will not be applicable or used on any documents.
