Are lender credits included in the APR?

Lender credits reduce the amount of Total Closing Costs (J) on the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure; however, the actual amount of each fee or charge is not reduced.

The APR is calculated based on the amount of each fee where APR is selected; therefore, lender credits are not included in the APR calculation.
