Tasks

In Vanceo, a task is an activity described on Task Details that is part of a process. A Process is your financial institution’s workflow built into a Process within Vanceo created through collaboration by your Financial Institution’s Administration and with the assistance of a Wolters Kluwer Administrator. A task may request the user to complete certain information or documents inside or outside of Vanceo. Users complete tasks to move the workflow to completion. You can access tasks from the icon in the header of a transaction’s details, from the Tasks Grid on the Vanceo Dashboard or from the Transaction Summary.

The task status icon is a helpful visual indication of a task’s current status. The task status icon will always appear next to the task name. The following are all of the possible task statuses and their definition:

  • Open: A task that is currently in progress or has not yet had any work started on it yet will be signified with the grey unfilled circle.
  • Complete: A task that has been already completed by a user will be signified with the green check mark circle.
  • Stopped: A task that has been stopped will be signified with the circle. Stopped tasks occur when the associated process has been stopped and there were tasks currently open. A Process could be stopped to indicate the transaction has initiated an adverse action and the associated process is no longer relevant to the transactions new path.
  • Upcoming Task: A task that is within 70% of its duration, but not 100% of its defined duration and is in jeopardy of being late.
  • Past Due Task: A task that has reached greater than 100% of its defined duration and is now past due.
