Categories

Users with the Manage Attachment Categories permission in Security Administration can apply categories to attachments and remove the categories. Categories help search, filter, and sort attachments. Attachment categories are optional and more than one category can also be applied to an attachment.

Creating a Category

  1. Select Manage in the left pane on the Dashboard and select Categories.

  2. Select .

  3. Enter a label for a category and select Add.

Note: After the category is created, the category is shown on the Categories grid.

Note: Selecting refreshes and updates the Categories grid.

Category Label Requirements

  • A category label cannot have more than 100 characters.

  • A category label must be unique.

  • A category label cannot be blank.

Deleting a Category

  1. On the Categories grid, select next to a category, and select Delete.

  2. Select Delete to confirm the deletion.
