The Edit User page allows you to edit any desired information pertaining to a current user of
the system.

Note: Required fields are indicated on the screen
with an asterisk.
Note the following features:
- USER INFO - This section allows you to modify a user's First Name, Last Name and
Email address.
Note: Once a user is created, the user name cannot be modified, therefore
the USERNAME field is disabled on the Edit User page.
- USER STATUS - This section provides access to:
- DISABLE USER: - This feature disables the user, preventing the user from
accessing the
system. This does not delete the user from the system.
- RESET PASSWORD - Allows you to reset the user's password. The text field and
RESET button are not visible unless the RESET PASSWORD option is
selected. This feature is available to allow users to create their own passwords. The
user will be prompted during their next attempt to log on to change their
password.
- UNLOCK/LOCK (not visible) - The Unlock user checkbox is only visible after
5 unsuccessful login attempts. Another user with administrative privileges will have to
unlock a locked user.
- USER ACCESS - The section allows you to select the organization that provides the
desired access for the user.
- PRODUCT ACCESS - This section allows you to provide the user with access rights
to any products that have been licensed to the associated organization. If the given
product allows Financial Institution Administrators the ability to define custom roles for
their product/organization, a drop-down role selection list appears next to the product
(if selected) allowing the administrator to designate a role for that user.
When the TSoftPlus checkbox is selected, Loan Processor and Systems Administrator are inherited from Sample Bank as defaults in the dropdown menu.
