Policy Updates

When a change is made in administration to a policy, existing transactions are not automatically updated.

If you would like the new administration changes, you need to go to the specific field in the transaction and refresh the existing option by selecting the refresh icon or select a new option. This will pull new information from administration and update the transaction. Default policy information that you are allowed to change at transaction time will not be refreshed . An example would be the Include Commercial Loan Agreement for Borrowers field.

Up-to-date policy information pertaining to parties is brought into a transaction whenever a party is added to the transaction. An example would be the Include reference to specific obligations field in policy, or the Ordinary Course Loan Agreement Expenditure options.

Note: Any time a party record is updated outside of a transaction, the next time someone recalls a transaction regardless if they have print/preview rights only or not, the modified date on the transaction will be updated. For example, Jane Smith navigates to Party Management and searches for Ted Jones and updates his address. Kurt, the loan processor, is actively working on a loan with Ted Jones. When Kurt recalls Ted’s transaction and doesn’t make any changes, the dashboard with the transaction list will show that Kurt changed the transaction. The change that Jane made within Party Management to Ted’s address is what triggered the transaction modified date to be updated.
