On a variable rate transaction, how is the initial rate floor determined?

The initial rate floor is calculated by adding the initial rate cap (if applicable) to the initial rate. For example, an initial rate of 3.25% minus an initial rate cap of 2.00% will result in an initial rate floor of 1.25%.
