How does Title Charge impact the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure?

When Title Charge is selected the fee will include the word 'Title' at the beginning of the fee name on the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure.

Fees, other than user defined fees, which contain Title as part of the fee name will include the word ‘Title’ when printed to the documents. For example, the fee ‘Abstract or Title Search’ will print as ‘Title - Abstract or Title Search’ even if Title Charge is not selected. When entering a Fee Short Name, the word ‘Title’ will be included at the beginning of the short name on the documents.

When entering a user defined fee for an item that is a component of title insurance or is for conducting the closing, you are required to select Title Charge to include the word ’Title -’ as part of the fee name on the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure.
