View 3: SettlementOne Credit Service Interface

View 3 shows the SettlementOne Interface page after selecting Credit Report from the menu.
Note: Both parties are listed in the Transaction Parties Section with the focus on Marisol Testcase as indicated by 'Marisol Testcase' displayed in the header.
  • Transaction Parties Section: All borrowers and cosigners for the ComplianceOne transaction display. Guarantors do not show because ComplianceOne does not support credit services for guarantors. Select options in the Credit Criteria section for each listed party.
  • Credit Criteria Section
    • Do Not Pull a Credit Report for this Individual: Select this option to exclude the selected party (displayed in the header) in the credit request from the SettlementOne Credit Service.
    • Consumer (Non-Mortgage) Credit Report: The SettlementOne Credit Service does not differentiate between a Consumer and Mortgage credit pull. This option performs the same functionality as the following Mortgage Credit Report option.
    • Mortgage Credit Report: Select this option to designate single, dual, or tri-merge credit bureau services in the credit report from SettlementOne Credit Service.
Note: A ComplianceOne system administrator may have configured the available bureaus and/or number of bureaus that default for the SettlementOne Credit Service Interface.

If a Financial Institution consistently wants single or dual credit bureau service for specific mortgage products, a system administrator can configure different defaults for a Consumer Credit Report and a Mortgage Credit Report.

Example: Configure a Consumer Credit Report for single bureau service such as Experian and configure Mortgage Credit Report for tri-merges such as Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. At service time, select Consumer for single bureau service or Mortgage Credit Report for tri-merge bureau services.

    • Reissue Existing Credit Report: Select this option to reissue a SettlementOne Credit Service report when a credit report already exists in ComplianceOne or a credit report has been previously processed outside of ComplianceOne.
Note: If credit report results already exist in ComplianceOne, the SettlementOne Credit Service Interface page shows the user with this option selected and the Credit Report Reference Number populated. Refer to the User Scenario – Credit Report Reissue section below for more information.
