Communication Across Product Teams

For development purposes and consistancy across all Next Gen products, it is important to communicate features and functionality of Web Help documentation to ensure all product owners are knowledgeable in all aspects of documentation for their individual products.

To that end, bi-weekly meetings occur with all Next Gen product owners and InfoDev members involved in producing Next Gen documentation. As other InfoDev members are pulled into Next Gen documentation development, they will be included in these meetings.

This Next Gen Documentation meeting is held by the InfoDev member(s) primarily to communicate progress and concerns of web based documentation for Next Gen products. This is also a platform for all involved attendees to communicate how the documentation is affected across the products and how to reuse content. Moreover, specific action items (such as dynamic header development) occur as a result of vision and conversation.
