Bulk Create

You can create multiple new users within your site by using the Bulk Create option. This option is suggested for creating multiple users for title companies or attorneys who will receive SDX packages on an ongoing basis. Before you can use the Bulk User Creation option, you must first have your users' information contained within a CSV file. This file must meet the following criteria:
  • Comma-separated value (CSV) format
  • One user per line
  • Line must be formatted as follows: email address, agency name, agency address, agency city, agency state, agency zip code, agency phone, agency fax
To create multiple users with the Bulk User Creation tool:
  1. Click the Bulk Create link from the Support/Users section of the navigation menu. A list of currently configured groups is displayed.
    Note: You may need to expand group containers to view subgroups. Select the corresponding letter for the group to which this group of users is being created and click + to expand the list and view subgroups.
  2. Click on the link for the group to which you wish to assign the group of users. The Bulk User Creation screen is displayed.
  3. Click Browse and locate the the CSV file that contains the information for the users you wish to create. Click Upload.
  4. If the bulk file is formatted correctly, the following screen displays. To create the new users from the file, click Add Users. (review note: what happens if the file is not formatted correctly?)
  5. After the new users are created, a message window displays the number of users that have been created.
