Integrating the Calendar into your webhelp (InfoDev)

This section explains how to integrate the release calendar for your product into the corresponding webhelp.

Note: This procedure describes specific Vasont functionality; for more information on using Vasont, see the InfoDev Confluence site.
  1. Before integrating the calendar, you must first create an html file that embeds your Event Viewer / Read-Only calendar and place it on the help server at \\Nastntx95015-c\InfoDev\resources\calendars\<Product>ReleaseCalendar.html.
    • Open an existing calendar in Notepad and rename it.
    • In the <iframe src=> element, replace the existing URL with the link to your URL.
    • Save the file to the location above.


  2. In Vasont, locate the "Release Schedule" concept in Vasont; client key = c12066958.
  3. Open the workspace or ditamap for the specific webhelp implementation. Copy the "Release Schedule" concept and paste it into the desired location within the ditamap.
  4. Extract your ditamap into Oxygen. Double-click the "Release Schedule" concept to edit it.
  5. Add your product (for example: Settlement Services) to the first <section><title></title></section> through a <ph/> element. Apply a product attribute and value to the <ph/>. See below for examples.


  6. Add your specific product-specific text through a <p/> element. Add a link to your product's EVENT VIEWER or read-only calendar URL through a weblink; the weblink should point to the following location: https://documentation.wolterskluwerfs.com/Help/resources/calendars/<Product>ReleaseCalendar.html
  7. Select the <xref/> for the calendar. In the Attributes pane, select peer from the scope dropdown list of available values.


  8. Save and update the file to the Vasont database. Remember to check it back into Vasont.
