Creating and Installing OPPSA

This section explains how to create and install the OPPSA installer.

  1. The following files are needed to create the OPPSA_Hosted.msi installation package. Copy all files from the OPPSA\OPPSA-InstallTransformKit folder to a server to produce the installation package which will need to be executed on each application server.
    • Run.bat
    • Transform.xml
    • MsiTransform.exe
    • OppsaSaasInstaller.msi
    • Transforms.xsd
  2. Locate and run the Run.bat file. This will create an installation executable named OPPSA_Hosted.msi using the default installer package (OppsaSaasInstaller.msi) and properties specified in the Transform.xml file.
    Note: If property values are set to null in the transform.xml (i.e. SQLINSTANCENAM), you will see “Failed Transformations” message indicating those properties will not have a value in the installation.
  3. Copy the OPPSA_Hosted.msi installer to the application server. From the OPPSA application server, double-click OPPSA_Hosted.msi to run the installation.
