Other Required Software Within the Java Environment

WebSphere 7.0 or 8.5.5: IBM WebSphere Application Server provides the runtime environment for Java applications and servers.

Note: Java 1.7 is only supported with WebSphere Application Server 8.5.5; however, it can be configured to use versions 1.6 or 1.7
JBoss 4.2.3 or 5.0.1: JBoss provides the runtime environment for Java applications and services.

Note: Currently, Expere supports Java 1.5 with JBoss 4.2.3 and 5.0.1.
